How to find the museum

Glud Museum is situated in a charming area near the inlet and strait, where many historic
and cultural gems can be found.

Northbound

If you are driving on the highway E45 northbound, take exit 57 and follow the signs towards Juelsminde.
We recommend that you drive eastwardly along the roads,

Bollervej and Gludvej, where you will see glimpses of Horsens Inlet along the way.

Southbound

If you are driving on the highway E45 southbound, take exit 57 and follow the signs towards Juelsminde.
We recommend that you drive along Vejle Inlet through Barrit

(the longest village in Denmark), through Juelsminde and continue up the coast to Glud.

If you are visiting the museum by public transport, you can take bus route number 104 from Horsens train station.
The bus stops in the vicinity of the museum.

After your visit at the museum, you may care to continue your journey towards
Snaptun and take the ferry to Hjarnø, where you can see Viking burial sites formed as ships or visit Palsgaard
and go for a walk in the beautiful park
